Founded in 2019 by Thomas & Fem from Amsterdam, Liefs has grown from festival pop-ups into an award-winning café, conscious catering company, sustainable ranch, and now a published cookbook.

The concept of Liefs' Conscious Comfort Cuisine started from our vegan VW vans — beloved buses given a second life — and a local farm supplying food.

During the 2020 pandemic that shut down Liefs and the world — six weeks after we first opened — we brought a barren farm to life by making vegetable beds, planting trees, and harvesting home-grown produce. With the help of native Mayan team-members, we've developed the land to supply the food we serve at Liefs.

Zero Waste: all packaging and production is 100% recycled and/or composted — developing a truly self-sustainable food-cycle that the world needs now more than ever.
