Fem Huijsmans-Massink
By trade, Fem is a social worker and holds a Master's in Business, Communication and Organization. In practice, she has spent her career creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen.
She produced nationally broadcasted sporting events with awards finales in The Netherlands. Among them televised cycling races in The Netherlands, in cooperation with — and hosted by — the mayor of Rotterdam. She produced the Noordkaap Challenge, a charity event transmitted live on The Netherlands' most popular radio station, in which celebrities drove SUVs from Amsterdam to the northernmost point of Norway.
As founder of F.E.M: Festival Event Management, 2018 in Houston, Texas, she produced many events — most notably over 20 editions of the electronic music parties for Nocturnal Circus' Cirque Noir at venues across Houston, Los Angeles, Austin and at Burning Man, featuring DJs such as Damian Lazarus and Maceo Plex, attended by thousands of guests each edition.
Fem managed a major Texas Food Fest and helped produce countless wellness and yoga events and festivals across the US. Today she brings every bit of that experience to Rancho Verde Tulum.
